Mica Kostic-musician
Master of bohemian feeling who makes everybody, even academics and actors,
forget all their troubles with the sound on his accordion.
He become a symbol of an era with his performance of his song
“For Belgrade-(Za Beograd)” in director Slobodan Sijan’s cilt classic
“Who Sings over there”. Today he still performs in many clubs and restaurants.
He was more than happy to accept the ivitation to be part of yet another musical
attraction-Serbia’s Global Warming Orchestra.
Kolo is kind of dance where dancers from a circle, holding acch others hands.
During this performance, dancers move repeatedly round and round.
Kolo is sort of magical ritual,where closed circle represents protection from
everything that could harm community. Kolo is the most common and most
widespread form of dance of Serbian people. “Kolo”is also the name of our
national traditional dance ensamble.
